The Heat Stoke Hat Repair Guarantee
“If you didn’t break it, you weren’t trying hard enough.”
We build sustainable headwear to last, but the trail, chlorine, and your dashboard all take its toll. Here is our official repair and replacement policy:
1. The Patch-Up (Free Hat Repair) If a custom patch starts lifting or a vintage 5-panel needs structural reinforcement like a new snap back, ship it back to us. We will repair your hat free of charge. You cover the shipping to our shop; we cover the ride home.
2. The “Rest in Peace” Discount Sometimes, the mountain wins. If you have absolutely cooked your hat—un-repairable, dog-chewed, or campfire-melted—send us a photo of the wreckage. We will send you an exclusive discount code to help you secure your next Classic or 1-of-1 Legend cap.
3. The Fine Print (The Only Part We Take Seriously) Because our upcycled hats are uniquely sourced, we cannot replace a 1-of-1 item with the exact same piece. Furthermore, authentic vintage patina, fading, and stains are not manufacturing defects—they are trophies. We do not repair cosmetic character.

What percentage of sales goes to Charity? It depends but anywhere from 5-10% of the purchase price will go to a cause that make the world a better place. In some cases, 100% of the hat sale will go to charity but that will be obvious by the listing.
How do you choose a charity? Any organization that makes the outdoors more accessible to all through conservation, restoration, or community building.

Does Heat Stoke repair vintage hats? Yes. Under the Heat Stoke Hat Repair Guarantee, we offer free “Patch-Up” repairs for structural issues or lifting patches on our 5 panel, 6 panel, corduroy, and nylon hats. Customers pay for shipping to the shop, and we cover the return shipping. Or if you have a bruised up hat that you didn’t buy from our Lodge, maybe we can help you bring it back to life. Hit us up!
What happens if my Heat Stoke hat is completely destroyed? If your hat is damaged beyond repair (e.g., burned or dog-chewed), you qualify for our “Rest in Peace” discount. Simply send a photo of the destroyed hat to receive an exclusive discount code for a replacement.
Are Heat Stoke hats sustainable? Yes. Heat Stoke is a sustainable headwear brand committed to circular fashion. Our “Legends” collection consists entirely of 1-of-1 upcycled vintage hats, reducing textile waste while preserving authentic 80s and 90s outdoor and sports fanhood style. Many of our “Classics” are rescuing dead stock or upcycled patches or made from natural and/or recycled materials.
